GEOEXPLORER TEACHING https://geoexplorer-teaching.pages.dev/ 1. Use a current desktop browser and allow the Google sign-in popup. 2. Have your own Google account and Google Cloud project registered for Earth Engine. Enable the Earth Engine API and ensure your account can use that project. Complete Google's applicable registration/eligibility requirements yourself. 3. Enter YOUR project ID and sign in with YOUR Google account. You do not need instructor authorization, a shared password, test-user enrollment, or access to the instructor's project. A school administrator may impose separate Google Workspace restrictions. 4. Begin with a small rectangle and a short period. Your project quotas apply. 5. Keep this tab open. Results and tokens live in browser memory. Reloading, closing or signing out clears the session. Download CSV/JSON results before leaving. 6. Clustering offers Bayesian, PAM, CLARA and SOM using GeoExplorer's methods. The optional SPAM crop mask is off by default; it reads a public teaching asset, while computation uses your own project. Only Earth Engine read-only access is requested. No Drive access, asset-writing or instructor computation backend is used. There are no durable cloud batch exports in this edition; monthly retrieval runs directly and downloads are local. In-flight Google computations may finish after disconnecting. Student setup: https://geoexplorer-teaching.pages.dev/teaching/setup.html Privacy: https://geoexplorer-teaching.pages.dev/teaching/privacy.html Original local PDF: https://geoexplorer-teaching.pages.dev/manual/GeoExplorer-User-Manual.pdf The PDF is unchanged. Native/private-hosted authentication, storage, quotas and restart recovery described in it do not apply to this standalone edition. Use Student setup for these differences. Google OAuth verification or Workspace policies can still affect sign-in; report the exact message to your instructor without sharing access tokens.
