ANALYTICAL WORKSPACE

Signals through time

⌁

Your region has a story.

Retrieve observations to explore seasonal rhythms,
identify anomalies and compare environmental signals.

GEOEXPLORER

A field guide to your dashboard

1. Choose MODIS, Sentinel-2 or CHIRPS. Select Full country to use a national boundary, or draw a rectangle by dragging, or click two opposite corners, enter bounds, or use the visible map.

2. Choose a period. Generate spatial layers or retrieve monthly observations through an Earth Engine batch job.

3. Aggregate observations, calculate anomalies against the supplied-series mean, or compare date-matched series with Pearson or Spearman correlation.

4. Export CSV or JSON. JSON retains the region, dataset, units and calculation methodology.

Data and interpretation

MODIS uses SummaryQA 0–1 and its NDVI scale factor. Sentinel-2 uses SCL cloud, shadow, cirrus and snow masks. CHIRPS cloud time series are monthly rainfall totals. Spatial anomaly layers use same-calendar-month composites within the observation period; baseline-year fields are legacy metadata only; tabular anomalies use the supplied observations. Correlation does not demonstrate causation.
